august and i were away in stillwater house-sitting for some friends. it was lovely. we played with the chickens, collected eggs, went into town to the bikery bakery, took baths. in the evenings after i put august to sleep, i worked on writing songs for my new record, and soaked in the sauna... it was bliss. their kitchen is to die for and i had so much fun cooking, and baking bread. the only problem is that i'm spoiled now, and i want a wolf professional gas range and double oven. a girl can dream right?
