  1. you should probably move to plum street then so we can be neighbors. i'm totally getting back yard hens, and stringing lights up on the front porch. come over anytime.

  2. I lived on Winona St in Nfld in the late 70's-80's in a Victorian built in 1898. You're gonna love that old house with it's fixtures and built-ins. Enjoy!

  4. Hi Alison - (I serve with your Uncle Merv at crosswinds and have been a huge fan of yours since your "Clear" days (we know Jessie Kaihoi too)) Lisa has been linking/commenting your blog to FB - so popped over to read. I am thrilled to hear you got the house of your dreams!

I just had to comment because I have a friend who is living in Uruguay right now and she just journaled about how the homes in Piriapolis are named - instead of having addresses - and the house she is renting is called La Roseta because of the hedges of roses out front. http://threevoyagers.tumblr.com/post/16829556592/la-roseta-la-roseta-is-our-summer-home-most

When you referred to your new home as "Plum Street home" it reminded me of that. You seem to be just the type who would name her home instead of just relying on an address. All the best to you and your sweet family!
